Welcome to 2004. We look forward to another exciting and successful year in the Temecula Valley Unified School District. We will continue our focus on individual student success and academic achievement this year. I am proud to announce that TVUSD once again lead the Inland Empire in test scores in 2003, achieving the highest overall API score in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. The District also continues to roll-out it's aggressive construction plan, dedicating two schools in November and December and getting set to open three more in 2004, and an additional three elementary schools in 2005. TVUSD's fourth high school, located in French Valley, is also in the planning stages with an estimated opening date of August 2007. The District is also preparing for the Governor's Budget in January and will continue to keep both staff and community members updated on what is happening with our fiscal house here at TVUSD.
